With Memorial Day weekend next weekend, one cannot help but to think of memories and what they are made of. Here in the States, it's the beginning of the summer season, planting is a top priority, picnic tables are pulled out and you have the A-okay to wear white pants.

With Mother's Day right around the corner I look back and it seems that raising the kids was a fleeting moment. Of course, when you are in the midst of it all, days can seem endless. I think the 3-4 year old stage was my favorite but that could just be the mood I'm in.

ART QUILT RETREAT - July 9-13, 2012

I will be hosting a summer retreat on beautiful Skaneateles Lake Monday July 9th to Friday, July 13th at the Victorian Mansion known as Stella Maris Retreat and Renewal Center in Skaneateles, New York. Perfectly situated on a vast property with an abundance of lake frontage, inspiration abounds. A short walk into town brings you to a variety of boutique shops and co-op artisan galleries. We will explore working with photocopy transfers, rubbings, discharging, foiling, couching, using found objects and finishing techniques.
